The following article is a lived experience. All the advice offered are things I have tried and that have given me some relief during these years. The very first peice of advice I will give is this. Stay flexible, what works for you one week, one day may be different the next. Dont give up and think its not working, go with what your body needs and reuqires each day and everyday is different. Some days I am craving Nettle tea because I can feel my bones are tired, other days

Yesterday and lots of days in Summer I visit Halls Falls - it's a beautiful little waterfall up in the Mountains close to where I live. I come here to pray to the waters and spend time connecting to Nature. All of life is a ceremony, each moment a beautiful gift to be here on this incredibly diverse and miraculous planet. I give thanks for the water that is abundant in my life always My prayers usually go a little something like this and when I am immersed in the waters the c

It’s just not possible to have a favourite plant - a favourite plant list however now that’s a thing!!! and on my list is Sensitive Weed. MIMOSA podia - the beautiful prickly herb with very sensitive leaves that fold up at night and when touched. I really really love this plant and feel so sad when people just brush her off as an annoying noxious weed, Its even been labelled on some websites as Australia’s worst weed, I mean really? - SAD! I was recently revisiting an old text book “The Spark in the Machine - How the Science of Acupuncture explains the Mysteries of Western Medicine ” by Doctor Daniel Keown on a totally different tangent when the chapter on Collagen drew me in and I made a huge connection between the decline of collagen in the Menopausal years and how and why our bodies go through such a visceral, palpable, electrifying transition and we totally change as women and people. It talks about how col

Theres a saying that rocks shouldn't be removed from where you find them, that they belong to the land where they are found and to take them away is to disrupt the sacred dreaming of Earth. That their spirits will be disconnected from their kin and the stories of the world and this place they hold will be become fragmented and lost. This is true, but not for all rocks. While massive boulders bigger than skyscrapers that make up parts of the mountians and gorges may never move

Lake Barrine oh how I treasure you. At the time of writing this I am fortunate to live just a short drive from this incredibly beautiful ancient volcanic crater lake. I visit often, at all times of the day and in all kinds of weather. You can find this pristine lake on the Atherton Tablelands about 1.5hrs from Cairns if you take the Gillies range. There is a Teahouse right on the lake that is a tranquil place to have a Coffee - (not a fan) or Tea and scones, sit back and be o

Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan I really love visiting Japan - the land is very easy for me to connect to. This is partly because of the Earthquakes. Deep inner Earth minerals and gases are released often merging with the water, land and air that we spend time in. Time is limitless and boundless in this moment on this day where the sun is rising again from the east behind the mountain where I stand golden light shining out from within the clouds to seperate and open up the sky into a
