Detox

Morning Detox Protocol for
Kidneys/Liver/Gall/Digestive System

Follow this morning routine for at least 2 weeks.

1 month treatment is optimal. You can also continue this indefinitely, or come back to it every few months, listen to your body. 

Process & Ingredients

First thing in the morning on an empty stomach

squeeze 1 lemon and add it to specifically

500ml of water. Drink all.

20 minutes later - Juice enough fresh celery to

make 300-400ml of juice and drink it all.

Tip - Cold celery tastes better

IMPORTANT - Do not consume any FAT until 12pm. You can still eat, just no fat, including milk in teas or coffee. This allows the Liver optimal time to detoxify.

After 12pm you can eat as normal.

During Detox periods your organs are more sensitive

Be mindful of Caffeine, Alcohol and heavy spice intake.

 

Ideas for FAT FREE Breakfasts

Any and all kinds of fresh fruits

Coconut water smoothies with fruit

Detox Smoothie ( Do not consume for longer than 2 weeks at a time)

1 x Banana

700ml Coconut Water

1 x dessertspoon of barley grass

1 x dessertspoon of chlorella

1 x cup frozen mixed berries

2 x teaspoons of Chia Seeds

Honey to taste or 1 x tsp of vanilla

Herbal T eas

Dandelion -  Taraxacum officinale

Chicory - Cichorium intybus

Burdock Root - Arctium lappa

Moringa - Moringa oleifera

Green T ea or Matcha

Continue this Morning Detox for at least 2 weeks.

During a detox you may expect to feel tired, lethargic, nausea, feeling “a bit off”, experience

headaches, energy dips and crashes, unusual sensations in your digestive tract and change in bowel

movements. This is considered standard during this time as toxins are being mobilized from deepwithin tissues, fat stores and organs and are moving around your body. Sometimes symptoms seem to

worsen at first, and you may have skin outbreaks, or if there is an existing skin condition it may worsen.

Lymphatic Detox

Lymphatic Detox is essential for anyone with a slow and sluggish metabolism/constitution and those consuming high amounts of fats, dairy and processed foods. 

In conjunction with lymphatic massage - particularly of the jaw groin and armpits, dry bruising, daily movement and increasing the heart rate until you sweat  the following herbs can be drank as a tea daily to stimulate lymphatic flow and help the body rid itself of fluid & toxic buildup.

This tea combination can become part of your daily life and continued to suit your particular needs. 

LYMPH NYMPH - THE BLEND 

Cleavers - Galium aparine

Red Root - Ceanothus americanus

Calendula - Calendula officinalis

Echinacea - Echinacea angustifolia

Burdock Root - Arctium lappa

Poke Root - Phytolacca americana

Dandelion - Taraxacum officinale

Nettle - Urtica diocia

Figwort - Scrophularia nodosa

Parasite Detox

Morning detox protocol for Parasites/Liver & Ridding the body of Toxic Accumulation

Recommended of you have never done a Detox or its been a long time. 

Follow this morning routine for at least 2 weeks.

1 month treatment is recommended for the first time.  I recommend this treatment at least twice a year, Once every season if you share your space and bed with pets. 

Process & Ingredients

1 x lemon

50 cent size piece of ginger - chopped fine

1 x large clove of organic garlic - chopped fine

1/8th of a tsp Cayenne pepper

1 x dessertspoon of Nigella Black Seed Oil

First thing in the morning on an empty stomach

squeeze the lemon, mix all ingredients together in 1/2 glass of warm water, mix well, hold your nose and drink.

 

20 minutes later - Drink a cup of Herbal Tea made from the following ingredients

Wormwood x 1 tsp

Burdock Root Arctium lappa x 1 tsp

Dandelion Root  Taraxacum officinale x 1 tsp

Oregano leaf  - Origanum vulgare x 1 tsp

Yellow Dock Rumex crispus x 1 tsp

Thyne leaf  - Thymus vulgaris x 1 tsp

Cleavers - Galium aparine x 1 tsp

 

Before bed - If possible obtain a Liquid herbal tincture of the same ingredients that are in the Tea and have 30ml 1/2hr before bed. 

Continue this Morning Detox for at least 2 weeks.
